President of the Board of Directors

Student at the National School of Administration (ENA - promotion Human Rights, 1979-81), he became in 1986 Technical Adviser in charge of tax affairs of Alain Juppé (Budget Minister) and Edouard Balladur (Minister of Economy and Finance). In 1995, he was appointed Director of the Cabinet of Prime Minister Edouard Balladur.

Advisor to the President then Administrative Director of Elf-Aquitaine, he is then, from 2000 to 2009 the Deputy Secretary General, the Secretary General from 2009 to 2015 and since 2015 the Secretary of the Board of Directors of Société Générale.

President of Société Générale Bank & Trust since 2009, he is also Chairman of the tax committee (since 2001), the compliance committee (since 2011) and the fight against money laundering (since 2011) of the French Banking Federation (FBF).

Arnaud Jacquemin joined Societe Generale Group in 1993 within SG CIB, where he worked in a number of positions both in France and the USA, notably in project finance then as head of strategy for SG CIB. In 2003, he joined the Finance and Development division as Deputy Head, then Head of Financial Management. In 2008, he was appointed Group Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In 2012 he joined the Risk division as Deputy Chief Risk Officer. He was appointed Group Deputy General Secretary in 2015, notably heading the transformation of the Compliance division, and Deputy Head of Group Compliance in 2017. In June 2018, he became Group Country Head for Luxembourg and CEO of Société Générale Bank & Trust, which conducts all Group businesses in Luxembourg.

Arnaud Jacquemin is a member of the Société Generale Group Management Committee. He is a graduate of the École polytechnique and the Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées.

Cécile Bartenieff began her career in 1990 at Accenture's consulting division before joining BRED Banque Populaire in 1995 where she worked successively as an Arbitrage trader and then in sales for large Corporates. Cécile Bartenieff joined Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking in 2000. She held various managerial positions within the Finance and Operations Departments before joining the COO office of Global Markets. In 2014, Cécile Bartenieff was nominated Head of Operations of Global Banking & Investor Solutions. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Global Banking & Investor Solutions on 1st June 2017. 

Cécile Bartenieff holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the ESSEC Business School.

Deputy Head of Societe Generale Private Banking

Patrick Folléa joined BNP in 1984 as an economist before joining the Internal Audit Department in 1990. He then became Manager of Private Banking in Hong Kong and Managing Director of BNP Asset Management in Asia.

He returned to Private Banking in 2000 as regional manager in charge of development. From 2003, he was in charge of BNP Paribas Private Bank in Italy and in 2007 joined Societe Generale group as Deputy CEO of Societe Generale Private Banking France.
In 2012, in addition to his existing responsibilities, he was appointed Deputy Head of Societe Generale Private Banking. Patrick Folléa has been member of the Executive Committee of Societe Generale Private Banking since 2011, in charge of supervising Societe Generale Private Banking's activities in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. In January 2014, he became a member of the Group Management Committee of Societe Generale.

Patrick Folléa has a degree in Private International Law and Political Sociology from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Bordeaux and a Doctorate in International Finance from the University of Paris, Dauphine.

Manager of the Business Unit Global Finance

Pierre Palmieri was appointed Head of Global Finance in January 2012. He had previously been Deputy Head of Global Finance (formerly Capital Raising and Financing) since April 2008. Prior to that, he was Global co-Head of Natural Resources and Energy Financing.

Pierre Palmieri began his career at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking in 1987 in the Export Finance department. He then became head of a finance engineering team. In 1994 he joined the commodities finance team, and in 2001 he was appointed Global Head of Structured Commodity Finance. His responsibilities were broadened in 2003 to include the mining sector and again in 2005 to include trade finance activities. Pierre has been a member of Societe Generale Group Management Committee since January 2011.

Pierre Palmieri is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Tours.

Head of Societe Generale Securities Services

Bruno Prigent has been Head of Societe Generale Securities Services since October 2011.

After working for 4 years as IT project manager for an IT services company (SG2), Bruno Prigent joined the Societe Generale group in 1984 where he initially spent 7 years with the General Inspection division. He subsequently held a number of different positions within the securities division: Head of Fund Administration, Head of Depot Bank, Head of Securities for Institutional Investors (from June 2000 until June 2008) and Deputy Head of Societe Generale Securities Services (from July 2008 to September 2011).

Bruno Prigent is a member of the Group Management Committee of Societe Generale.

He is president and administrator of several additional boards of directors in France and of SGSS’ entities abroad.

Bruno Prigent has a master’s degree in information technology (MIAGE) from Paris IX Dauphine.

Hélène Crinquant was appointed General Secretary of Societe Generale Bank & Trust since 1st of June 2016.

After ten years with the Banque Populaire in France, Hélène Crinquant joined the Société Générale Group in 1998.

After being Head of the Cash Management Business Line and Assistant Head of the Businesses department, she was appointed as Director of Marketing and Sales Coordination within Private Banking in Luxembourg. In 2006, she became SGBT Director of Human Resources. From 2010 to 2012, she served as Deputy General Manager, a member of the SGBT Executive Committee. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing Operations, General Services, Purchasing and Communications.

In 2013, she joined the Human Resources Department of the Société Générale group in Paris as Training Director, Management and Development of Strategic Talent and Group Senior Executives.

Hélène Crinquant graduated with a Masters in Economic Sciences, majoring in Finance and Currency, from the University of Nancy and the Institut Technique de Banque. She also holds certification in individual and collective coaching.

Olivier Renault is Chief Operating Officer of Societe Generale Bank & Trust since September 1st 2018.

Olivier Renault has a degree from the Paris Graduate School of Economics, Statistics and Finance (ENSAE) and began his career as a consultant in the banking sector before being appointed Director of Finance Control for a services compagny in France. He joined Societe Generale Group’s Human Resources department in 1999 and was then appointed Head of Clearing at SGSS in France. In 2006, he became Deputy Head of SGSS S.p.A. in Milan where, in particular, he managed project integration and synergies with this subsidiary, which was acquired by societe Generale that year. He became  Country Manager of Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) in Luxembourg in 2010.

Yves Cacclin is Head of Commercial Banking, Structured Finance and Corporate Financial Engineering since June 2015.

A graduate of HEC Liège, Yves Cacclin joined Société Générale Bank & Trust in February 1995 as a middle office manager in financial engineering and wealth planning. In 1999, he moved to the front office where he worked as a corporate financial engineer before being named head of department in 2004. Since 2015, he is also in charge of the commercial banking activity.

Jeanne Duvoux is Managing Director of Societe Generale Bank & Trust, in charge of private banking activities in Luxembourg, effective September 1st 2015.

Jeanne Duvoux started her career in 1989 as an auditor at Deloitte. She joined the Societe Generale group in 1996 where she held consecutively the positions of CFO for Fimat group and Managing Director of Fimat Banque. In 2006, following the acquisition of securities services from UniCredit Group, Jeanne Duvoux joined SGSS as Deputy Head of SGSS S.p.A. in Milan in charge of the supervision of the bank’s corporate functions and business functions before becoming Managing Director of SGSS S.p.A. in Milan in 2009. In January 2012, she holds the positions of CEO of SGSS S.p.A in Milan.

Jeanne Duvoux is a graduate of ESC Reims in Economics and Business and is a registered Certified Public Accountant.

Global Head of Market Solutions – Private Banking

Bertrand Kauffmann is Global Head of Market Solutions within private banking activities of Société Générale Bank & Trust in Luxembourg.

Bertrand Kauffmann joined Societe Generale in 1992 within SOGENAL Luxembourg (Société Générale Alsacienne de Banque). In 1997, he is in charge of managing the treasury team of SOGENAL Luxembourg and SGBT. He takes the global supervision of treasuries and Foreign Exchange operations in 2010 for Societe Generale Private Banking. Since 2013, he is Global Head of Market Solutions, covering treasuries, structured and derivative products, market execution and Prime Market Access from 2015 on. In 2016, he joined the Executive Committee.

Bertrand Kauffmann graduated ESCP (Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris).

Eric Kerschen was appointed Head of Compliance of SGBT in April 2018.

Eric entered Société Générale in Luxemborug in 2006 in the Internal Audit Department. He joined the Compliance Department in 2010 and served as deputy head of the department since 2014.

In 2018, he joins the Executive committee of Société Générale in Luxembourg.
Eric Kerschen is an university graduate of Paris 1 (law) and an ENA alumnus.

Thibaud de Montgolfier is Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Bank & Trust Luxembourg since April 2017.

Since 2013, Thibaud de Montgolfier has been deputy Chief Financial Officer for Societe Generale Private Banking. Previously, he occupied various management positions within the Financial Direction in Societe Generale in Paris, New-York and Hong-Kong between 2002 and 2013.

Prior to joining Société Générale, Thibaud de Montgolfier has been Chief Financial Officer for NetsCapital (start-up in Investment Banking services) from 2000 to 2001, Senior auditor in the General Inspection team in Worms bank from 1998 to 2000, and Senior auditor in Mazars from 1995 to 1997.

Philippe Perain is the Head of Human Resources in Société Générale in Luxembourg since April 2018.

After spending 10 years in the energy and automotive sectors, Philippe Perain joined Société Générale in January 1996 as head of labour law. In 2000, he joined the Human Resources department as Deputy Head and then Head of Employee Relations. He then became Head of Human Resources for the Ile de France Sud regional delegation within retail banking. Since October 2011, Philippe has been Head of Human Resrouces at SGSS where he worked a lot to support the transformation.

Hedi Sghaier is Systems Director of Société Générale in Luxembourg since May, 2018.

In 1994, Hedi Sghaier joined the IT department of Société Générale CIB and occupied numerous posts, from the development of applications to project management before performing managerial functions within the IT and Operations services. Since 2014, he was in charge of the IT division dedicated to piloting of risks of counterparty on market transactions.

Hedi studied at the University of Technology of Compiègne, he has a double diploma Master's degree Computer Sciences Projects Management and a Doctorate 3rd Cycle in Fluid mechanics.

Thierry Villemin is Société Générale in Luxembourg’s Chief Risk Officer since June 2018.

After working three years at Crédit du Nord network in Lorraine, Thierry joined Société Générale in Luxembourg in 1998. He worked as a corporate credit and private banking analyst, and then moved to internal audit at Société Générale in Luxembourg as Deputy Head of Department from 2003 to 2006. He subsequently joined the risk department, where he put in place an operational risk management system, before becoming Deputy Chief Risk Officer in 2012. 

Thierry is an economic sciences graduate, and has a master's in Finance.

Benoît Willers is SGBT Operations Director since July 1st 2018. 

After 10 years with BIL Luxembourg, working in the Fund Services Department and the Private Banking Back Office, Benoît Willers joined the Group Société Générale in 2007. He held a series of posts, becoming Deputy Head of the Middle Office, then Head of Clearing and Settlement Services in 2012-2013 and Head of Custody and Issuer Services until 2016, when he was appointed Head of SGSS Banking Operations.

Mathieu Maurier has a Master of Science in Banking and Corporate Finance. He joined Societe Generale in 1994 as an Account Manager for the institutional clearing and custody unit in Paris.

In 1996, he became Product and Relationship Manager, managing, in particular, the introduction of the euro for the bank’s institutional clients.

He was then appointed Sales and Relationship Manager in the Securities Services Department in 1999, where he developed local and global custody and value-added services in a number of international markets. From 2002, he was a Senior Sales Manager with responsibility for international markets, in particular Japan and the Middle-East.

He moved to Johannesburg in 2005 to become Managing Director of Societe Generale in South Africa.

In 2008 he was appointed Head of Business Development for SGSS in Russia working within the Group's local subsidiary Rosbank where he stayed three years.

Mathieu returned to France in 2011 and has been heading the Global Coverage team of SGSS since then. He is today managing a global sales force of 80+ senior executives covering the full spectrum of Securities & Asset Servicing products and services in more than 20+ financial markets.

In 2009, Mathieu Maurier was included in Global Custodian magazine’s Securities Services Hall of Fame in recognition of his contribution to the shaping of the securities services industry.
